Ltd. facilitates cultivation and collection of high value crops, plants and herbs, and their socially responsible procurement to provide income enhancement opportunities. With the help of field experts, we provide practical field programs to farmers and introduce them to modern practices which assist in their overall development.

Our objective is to work with suppliers, partners, customers and other stakeholders towards a long-term association that includes product development, quality and cost optimisation, product enhancement, dedicated capacity commitments, and value addition. A modern, well-equipped processing unit in Umbergaon, Gujarat completes the process by making extracts of plants and herbs as per GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).

Through “Earthspired” (Inspired by the Earth), Mrida seeks to develop markets for natural and healthy food products empowering small and marginal farmers and providing livelihood opportunities for women ensuring income security and thereby facilitating sustainable growth.

Gurveen Kaur Sood
Gurveen Kaur Sood is a Co-founder & Director of Mrida Group.
She brings gender diversity into the operational, management as well as leadership levels within the group – a concept and practice that Mrida firmly believes in and strongly endorses.
Gurveen has a strong HR, Administration and Customer Service background. She has earlier spent more that a decade working with organisations such as Fortis Healthcare, Avon Cosmetics and the Bhilwara Group in various capacities.
